Pipeyard Privacy Policy

Pipeyard is designed to minimize data collection and operates entirely within Atlassian’s Forge platform.

Information We Store

Pipeyard stores only the minimum data necessary for functionality:

• Workspace configuration (Bitbucket workspace identifier and status)
• User preferences (refresh interval and filter settings)
• Internal Atlassian account ID (used only to separate user settings)

Cached Data

To improve performance, Pipeyard temporarily caches pipeline and repository data for short durations (30 seconds to 5 minutes). All cached data expires automatically.

What We Do Not Collect

• No names or email addresses
• No payment or billing information
• No repository contents or secrets
• No analytics or tracking data

How Data Is Used

Data is used solely to display pipeline status, remember user preferences, and improve performance through caching. Pipeyard is read-only and does not modify any Bitbucket or Jira data.

Data Location

All data is stored and processed within Atlassian’s infrastructure using Forge storage and Bitbucket APIs. Pipeyard does not operate external servers.

Data Sharing

Pipeyard does not sell or share data. Data is only accessed through Atlassian services and Bitbucket APIs as authorized by the user.

Logging

Pipeyard does not currently perform external logging. In the future, logging or monitoring tools may be introduced to improve reliability. Any such tools will be limited to technical data and this policy will be updated accordingly.

Data Retention

Configuration and user preference data are retained until changed or the app is uninstalled. Cached data expires automatically.

Your Rights

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your data. Because Pipeyard operates within Atlassian, some requests may need to be handled through your Atlassian account.

Children

Pipeyard is not intended for use by individuals under 13 years of age.

Changes

This policy may be updated from time to time. Updates will be reflected on this page.
