Getting Started

Install Pipeyard from the Atlassian Marketplace, grant the requested permissions, and connect it to your Bitbucket workspace.

Installing from the Atlassian Marketplace

1. Open the Pipeyard listing on the Atlassian Marketplace.
2. Click Get it now and choose the Jira Cloud site where you want to install it.
3. Complete the Marketplace checkout or trial flow.
4. After installation, open Apps > Manage your apps in Jira to confirm Pipeyard is listed.

Granting permissions

During installation, Pipeyard requests Forge permission scopes that let it read Bitbucket workspace, repository, pipeline, and runner data. These are read-only. The app cannot write to repositories, run pipelines, or modify Jira data.

Connecting Bitbucket

1. Open the Pipeyard app from the Jira apps menu.
2. Select Connect Bitbucket account.
3. Sign in with the Bitbucket account that has access to the workspace you want to monitor.
4. Review the requested scopes and approve the connection.

First-time setup

1. Enter your Bitbucket workspace slug (the short identifier in https://bitbucket.org/{workspace}). Use the slug, not the display name.
2. Choose a refresh interval. The default is 60 seconds.
3. Save the settings. Pipeyard will begin discovering repositories and pipelines.

Verifying everything is working

After setup, the dashboard should display:

• A list of repositories from the workspace.
• Recent pipeline runs with status colors.
• A runner panel if self-hosted runners are configured.
